The Tunisian Ministry of Agriculture visited Shanghai Qindian Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. for the purpose of conducting investment research

On December 2, a delegation of 28 representatives of the Tunisian Ministry of Agriculture and diplomatic staff, led by the Deputy Minister of IMENE and the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of SOULIMA, visited Shanghai Qindian Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd., the vice chairman of our association, to conduct a special investment study in the field of processing and trading of agricultural products.
The visit was aimed at deepening industrial cooperation within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative, focusing on the key problems of Tunisian agricultural products, including olive oil, citrus fruits, dates and other products: low packaging efficiency, short freshness life and insufficient adaptation to international transport requirements. The goal was to introduce advanced packaging technologies and equipment, enhance the international competitiveness of local agricultural products and seek new opportunities to deepen industrial cooperation between China and Tunisia.
Shanghai Qindian Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. was founded in 2006. The company is a national high-tech enterprise integrating R&D, design, production, sales and after-sales service, and has been specialized in the field of packaging machinery for nearly 20 years.
The company has a professional technical team led by leading engineers from the national personnel register, and has nearly 40 invention patents and utility model patents. The company's products have received EU CE certification and include automated and intelligent packaging solutions for the food industry, agricultural products and other areas.
As one of the industry's leading players, the company exports its products to more than 60 countries and regions worldwide and provides customized solutions to nearly 10,000 brands. With the development concept of "customized technical customization, global service, win-win cooperation", the company has become the "China Packaging Machinery Technology Innovation Demonstration Base" and a "Specialized, Precise, Innovative" category enterprise of Shanghai City.
During the visit, Tunisian representatives got acquainted in detail with the main technologies and advantages of Qindian Machinery products through visiting the exhibition hall, production workshops and holding technical negotiations.
In response to Tunisia's key needs - anti-oxidation olive oil packaging, freshness preservation and protection of citrus fruits from damage, vacuum packaging of dates - Qindian Machinery introduced customized solutions including an integrated production line of "intelligent weighing + aseptic filling + anti-counterfeiting and labeling", as well as equipment with multilingual control interface.
High performance, precise control and a design adapted to the requirements of international transport were highly praised by Tunisian representatives. Representatives from the Tunisian side noted that Qindian Machinery's customized solutions precisely match the export needs of local agricultural products and effectively solve the problem of packaging adaptation, which has long limited development. The technical level and quality of the company's equipment significantly exceeded expectations.
During special negotiations, both sides held an in-depth discussion on cooperation models. The Tunisian side praised Qindian Machinery's comprehensive solution of "customized equipment supply + technical training + after-sales service and operational support", noting that this model will improve the packaging efficiency of agricultural products by more than 50% and significantly reduce export losses.
This visit allowed us to achieve important mutual understanding in matters of cooperation. The Tunisian Ministry of Agriculture has officially invited Qindian Machinery's technical team to visit Tunisia to conduct a case study, prioritize the launch of a pilot project for cooperation in the field of olive oil packaging line, and further detail the cooperation plan.
The parties reached preliminary agreements on the main points of the memorandum of cooperation, delivery dates for equipment and stages of technical cooperation, which laid a solid foundation for further deepening cooperation.
The association will also continue to serve as a bridge to help member companies harness the opportunities of the Belt and Road Initiative, expand international markets, and contribute to industrial cooperation and economic exchanges between China and foreign countries.
