Cardboard box feeding system
Cardboard boxes are pre-positioned in the feed store. Using vacuum suction cups, mechanical grippers or other devices, the boxes are removed one at a time and fed to the forming station. During transportation, boxes pass through a system of guides and forming mechanisms that ensure their precise delivery to the work area.
Product feeding system
The feeding method depends on the shape, size and characteristics of the product. For products of the correct shape, vibrating feeders, conveyors and other devices are used to ensure an orderly flow to the packaging area. For products of non-standard shape or fragile products, special individually designed feeding mechanisms can be used to prevent damage to the product during transportation.
Boxing station
Once the carton and product arrive at the packaging station, the product is accurately placed into the carton using pushers, grippers and other actuators. To ensure the accuracy and reliability of the process, monitoring devices such as photoelectric sensors and proximity switches are commonly used to monitor the position and condition of products and cartons.
Box closing system
After placing the products, the box is closed. The most common closing methods:
• closing with hot glue;
• closing with self-adhesive elements;
• closure using tab valves.
When using hot-melt adhesive, the adhesive is applied to the gluing areas using adhesive equipment, after which the box is pressed for reliable fixation.
When using self-adhesive elements, they are applied to the box in advance, and after packaging the box is simply sealed.
When closing with tab flaps, structural elements of the box itself are used, which are mechanically inserted into the corresponding grooves.
